Harvey Ellis Desk and Deck

Stickley

This writing table was originally designed in 1903-1904 by architect and designer Harvey Ellis during his brief tenure with Gustav Stickley’s Craftsman Workshops. It was as striking in its design then as it is now and sold for $74,000 at Christie’s a few years ago. Available in solid quartersawn white oak.

The perfect spot for storing writing and stationary necessities, the Harvey Ellis Deck contains nine stationary cubbies behind upper doors that are flanked by three small drawers on each side. Floral inlays of maple, cherry, black walnut and ebonized hardwood adorn the doors, while copper inlay rings surround pulls.
