Connie S. Gray, ASID
When given a list of jobs to shadow in junior high Connie chose the interior design field. Connie obtained an associate degree in Interior Design in 1982. Since that time she has always worked in the interior design/furniture business.
Through the years Connie has continuously built upon her design knowledge from practical experience. The variety of clients and constant change in the industry has always kept this field interesting to her.
Taking the profession seriously Connie joined MIDA (Maine Interior Designers Association) in 1994 which sought legislation to register designers in this State in an effort to protect the consumer. Finding peers in this group to study with, Connie pursued national accreditation through NCIDQ (National Council of Interior Design Qualification).
Upon passing the NCIDQ exam in 2001 Connie applied and became a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Design) in 2002. Her membership and participation in this prestigious organization has been strongly encouraged and supported by Pierce Furniture, Inc.
Connie continues to enjoy and be inspired by the collaboration between designer and client.
Linda Jordan
A native Mainer, Linda lived in Philadelphia for 15 years. She worked as a designer and seamstress in
small boutiques and later went into retail management.
After returning home to Maine, her love of fashion and design led her into a career in the home
furnishings industry. Linda was the buyer at Sturbridge Yankee Workshop, a home furnishings catalog
company, for 15 years. She also worked in product development to bring their customers exclusive
designs.
Linda is passionate about helping people create beautiful home environments that they will love and
enjoy for years to come.
Julie Meserve
After achieving her degree in Interior Design in 2009, Julie has spent the last 15 years in furniture sales and interior design throughout Maine and New Hampshire.
Julie believes an integral part of creating a cohesive design relies on not only the collaboration and relationship between client and designer but also the ability of the designer to clearly represent her vision of the new space.
To assist the client with visualizing the space, Julie uses 3D technology to generate and present scaled floorplans. Her other skills include choosing furniture pieces that embody proper scale and configuration and fabric/leather selection that works with the clients’ color palette and lifestyle.
Having grown up in southern Maine, Julie has a strong tie to the community and a deep appreciation of the New England lifestyle.
